+ GUSTO AL DESIGN è un distretto diffuso nella città di Milano volto a facilitare
la promozione di giovani designer durante la Milano Design Week 2019.
Nato dall’idea di un team eterogeneo di cui fanno parte Massimo Bertani, Luca
Gibillini, iarchitects, Claudia Paoluzzi, Giuseppe Riccardi e Tuorlo Design Studio
che ha curato la direzione artistica, + GUSTO AL DESIGN permette a talentuosi
e giovani designer under 35, attivi nel settore del food & beverage, di esporre i loro
lavori in rinomate location del gusto, dell’intrattenimento e dell’ospitalità milanesi.
L’iniziativa è stata lanciata tramite una ‘call for designers’, la cui Giuria - composta
da Ginevra Bocini, art director di Bitossi Home, Biagio Cisotti, architetto, docente
e art director di Plank, Patrizio Cionfoli, director of design and interaction dello
Studio Volpi, Davide Cumini, architetto e partner di Iarchitects, Manola Del Testa,
art director di RCR Cristalleria Italiana, Alberto Maria Prina, designer, artista
e docente all’Accademia di Brera, e Alessio Sarri, maestro ceramista - ha
selezionato 20 progetti.
+ GUSTO AL DESIGN inaugurerà il 9 aprile presso gli spazi dell’Atelier di Santeria
con la mostra collettiva dei progetti di design selezionati e un talk sul tema del
design e del gusto condotto da Filippo Solibello in cui interverrà il Sindaco
Giuseppe Sala. A seguire, il live di James Holden & The Animal Spirits. L’esposizione,
presso l’Atelier, resterà aperta per l’intera settimana della Milano Design Week e,
parallelamente, i progetti selezionati saranno esposti in alcuni importanti ristoranti
partner dell’iniziativa: Ristorante Da I Gemelli, Ristorante Enrico Bartolini MUDEC,
Ristorante Ratanà, Ristorante Savini Milano 1867, Pinch e Spirit & Kitchen.
Oltre ai progetti dei giovani designer, saranno in mostra anche i bicchieri della
collezione Prestige di RCR Cristalleria Italiana, partner di +GUSTO AL DESIGN.
I bicchieri sono opera di alcuni importanti nomi del design come Biagio Cisotti,
Gilberto Corretti, Manola Del Testa, Gum Design, Giulio Iachetti, Martinelli Venezia,
Franco Raggi e Paolo Ulian, che hanno disegnato per +GUSTO AL DESIGN
la decorazione in molatura.

+ GUSTO AL DESIGN is a widespread district in the city of Milan aimed at facilitating

selected 20 projects.
+ GUSTO AL DESIGN will open on 9 April at the spaces of the Atelier of Santeria
with the collective exhibition of selected design projects and a talk on the theme of
design and taste led by Filippo Solibello in which the Mayor will intervene

Prestige collection by RCR Cristalleria Italiana, partner of + GUSTO AL DESIGN.
