At times, a natural disaster can inspire new ideas and an original use of materials. Using recycled wood recovered from river beds, and combining it with thin metal components, RIVER FLOOD takes shape.
RIVER FLOOD è un side table dalle linee minimali, in cui i piani in metallo si incastrano all’interno del legno. Il legno viene lasciato come è stato ritrovato, in modo da esaltare il lavoro degli agenti naturali, che con il tempo hanno segnato e trasformato la sua superficie.
RIVER FLOOD is a minimal side table, in which metal shelves are embedded in wood. The wood is left as it was found, so to enhance the atmospheric agents’ decay which have transformed and sculpted its crust.
